[attr="class","hdlyric"]"With the right information, you can break any defense "
[attr="class","hdtitle"]PERSONALITY [attr="class","hdinfo"] Positive Intelligent Problem solver Good natured Analytical Pragmatic Inventive Negative Withdrawn Stubborn Opinionated Judgemental/i] Weak willed Lonely Likes Horror movies Heavy metal/Hard rock Roller blading Night time Computers and technology Dislikes Too much sun Dogs Electronic music (Dubstep techno etc) Spending too long ‘disconnected’ Art classes Being center of attention Crowds Summary While stubborn in her own right, Alexia is actually quite a soft person who will relent under pressure, specific pressure to be exact. While adults, teachers, anyone more than a couple of years older than her will be met with a hard will of steel, the girl who so very lonely actually has a lot of trouble keeping up that same defense against someone her own age group, older or younger. Although liking to think of herself as some unmovable force, the fact is the right person could mold the poor girl like clay. She can be a considerate person, once drawn from her self imposed isolation, where she hides behind her heavy music, love of horrific and the macabre. Very gentle, she’s also spent a long time in a strange sort of detached state, preferring to think of herself as a sort of shadow in an attempt to make herself cool within the confines of her mind. This has led her to become a bit opinionated, she thinks herself able to judge and gauge people at a glance, finding reasons to not like them before they don’t like her. Alexia also doesn’t do well when a large number of people are focusing on her, it shakes away any sort of concentration. Loving the heavy side of music, the darker side of movies, games, even books she’s actually a really friendly person just lonely. In a completely backwards way of wanting to be close to people, yet pushing anything away to get close to this girl is to find the following; an incredibly loyal person whom would die for her friends, a gentle person who loves the cool night air, and being cuddled up to a small floofy kitten while talking about death and dismemberment. A sweet young lady who can solve problems, and not afraid to stick her neck out for her friends, a friend in her is a friend for life, even if you treat her poorly. Dogs are a huge weakness, she is terrified of them, absolutely panicking when in their proximity, she will immediately retreat from them. No matter how small or friendly the animal will be met with hostility and or terror | [attr="class","hdtitle"]HISTORY/MISC. [attr="class","hdinfo"]Alexia was born to a rather average, if not inattentive family. Her parents were wrapped up in their own little world and even as a baby the child had to fight for their attention at all. Mom being a wildlife photographer and dad being a moderately successful writer as well as a real estate agent, Alexia learned to handle her self at a pretty young age as both parents were often buried in their little projects, even when one or the other was traveling, promoting or shooting the person staying behind didn’t put in a lot of effort to spend time with their daughter. She wasn’t neglected by any means, there was always food for her, clothes and if she were sick they’d take care of the little one, but in the end she’d be alone most of the time or with a parent near by but only physically, mentally they’d be a whole world away. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons why she turned out so different from her parents, both of whom were enveloped in their creativity and expressing themselves through their artforms while Alexia didn’t even enjoy coloring. It was math that came easily to her, she could add numbers before she could spell, something about the language of math spoke to her as she enjoyed solving problems figuring out answers. There were even times when the girl would find the answer to the problem and then reverse her way to figure out how the answer came to be. Whatever the reason, it was readily apparent as she got older that when it came to things on an artistic level, their child had neither the talent nor the interest in such things. Around the age of six or perhaps just after she had turned seven, would be the event which would start a chain reaction leading Alexia to where she is today. Playing with the other kids, although even then a bit awkward with them, one child brought his dog to the park a big friendly thing named Clifford. At first tentatively she was afraid of him, but after a little bit of time the girl worked up the nerve to pet him which was followed up by a giant sloppy kiss, which was awesome in all honesty. The problem however lay with the couple of kids near by whose uncle had given them a bunch of bottle rockets and fire crackers, prompting them to sneak their mothers lighter. One of the rockets went astray impacting near the large dog just as little Alexia was petting his giant floofy head. In a startled, Clifford he bit the girl hard forever marring her forearm even many years later, he would also panic further and trample the girl. Now I don’t know if you know much about them but Clifford was a newfoundland dog, meaning he stood about he was almost 3 feet high weighing easily at 180 lbs, when that sort of dog runs over a little girl she gets hurt. A broken leg mostly, and a lot of bruising the poor girl as well as the dog, who really and truly didn’t mean to do that to such a sweet little girl who gave nice pets but the scary noise had really shaken him. So from then on the girl would never be comfortable around dogs again, so how does this set her up as a life changing event? It doesn’t, the recovery however is another story. With little to do during the summer, with arm and leg in bandages the parents in their wisdom decided to get her a personal computer, even with an internet connection. It started off simple enough, of course she was enamored by the new toy and she played with it like a kid would do, exploring its options and features by trial and error. She broke it more than once, after the second time the tech guy came to their house on call and as he did Alexia would ask questions, how does it work, why was she breaking it, what could she do to fix it. At first this guy, who didn’t know the first thing about kids just gave her vague answers but upon pressure he started to actually satisfy her curiosity. Kids learn fast, especially when their interest is captured in something, so and it did take many more attempts as well as calling this poor technician who was suddenly bombarded by a curious child, she started to fix things herself. It was simple things at first, but eventually she began to mess around with her computer learning more about it daily, at an exorbitant rate. Things began to shift for her from that point onwards, she was better with her computer than she was reading a book. Things sort of escalated quickly, the kid was exposed to things a kid shouldn’t be long after her body had healed she was immersed in the impossibly fascinating world of technology. Learning through trial and error as she grew up over time. The years would fly by, tech coming and going Alexia would become heavily immersed in the computer world, she did enough in school to get by, but she excelled with all things to do with her electronics. She could take computers apart, solder new parts together, she learned how to read and write computer languages, to a more fluent degree than her own English. Alexia was an expert at such things, she was a hacker, a coder, someone who could take apart a device and modify it with her own tools. She was ahead of her age in the skills she acquired, the math the logic the reasoning it all just came to her. Of course this did all come with a cost, she spent a large amount of time indoors alone or talking to people through her computer but not face to face. Her social skills were lacking, she went outside, finding enjoyment in rollerblading late at night when no one was around. In school most people just looked through the girl, she was awkward and quiet so attention just didn’t come to her, she sort of just faded in the background and that suited her just fine. Usually when people did notice her they were bullies who enjoyed to tease, to be cruel it made her a bit judgemental towards everyone in general. Teachers would often try and push her into doing thing she didn’t like, Alexia would come to resent them as they tried to force her to be sociable, they meant well but they didn’t understand her. Those rare times she did find someone to talk to, her love of horror movies, scary sounding metal or just general love of creepy things usually repulsed people enough they regretted the attempt. So she resigned herself to be alone it was just a thing, struggle to get by in school maintain an average grade in everything but math and some of the sciences. So then this brings to light the question of how did this girl make it into an academy for rehabilitation? Well money really. Technology, circuit boards, parts new gadgets all cost money and her parents would only fund the addiction so far before they would tell her to get a job or other useless advice. So she came up with a plan, ATM’s, and no she didn’t rob the ATM’s, physically at least. Breaking into a machine like that were the money safety box sat was a very difficult task and way outside of her skill set. How ever the circuitry was less guarded, far less so, it took a bit of research and some trial and error in the dead of night she would take the machines apart to get at their insides and with her laptop, a jumper cable as well as a handy exploit in the OS startup she was able to insert her own hidden software patch within the ATM’s. It was a simple set up, whenever someone would use the machine a tiny percentage of their transaction would be deposited to a paypal account. It was a small percentage too, like maybe 5-10 cents per transaction across multiple machines in a large city it did create a sizable income. The girl did not go without, and had her parents ever paid enough attention they might have noticed she was always decked out in new gear, or fancy head phones a nice phone or latest computer parts. They didn’t, and this little trick went on for quite a little while, but all good things come to an end, she wasn’t a criminal and although no one could trace it back to her through digital means, getting caught in the act at 4 am with an ATM in pieces around her was a hard case to argue against. A little investigating revealed that although digitally her tracks were covered, physically they were not in the slightest, again not a criminal just a nerd who needed money. After the investigation made some headway the final tally was nearly 100,000$ worth (estimated) of money taken, little bits at a time. It was a huge deal, the banks tried to have her thrown in juvie but her lawyer argued that it wasn’t their case to fight since the money had been taken from random people. I mean who was really going to go to court to press charges against a teenager for a dime? However the judge wasn’t about to let her off so easily, because she hadn’t stolen a huge amount from anyone, but she still had indeed taken a massive amount of money he compromised, on the condition that she attend an academy for troubled youth the charges would be set aside, UNLESS she do anything illegal again in her young life then all of the charges would be brought forward and she would face jail time. The lawyer argued that Alexia should take her chances with the individual people who she may have nickeled and dimed her parents shipped her away immediately. One for their careers to protect them and two because they thought she needed more help than they could give. Although to be honest, if they’d just spent some dam time with her none of this would have happened. |
