Dessy is sort of difficult to make friends with. He sees them as a bit useless, and has never had much time for them. He tends to prefer making friends on social media platforms, as that means he doesn’t have to leave his house/computer. However, if you see him out and about and approach him he’ll be friendly enough. He’s not gonna be all smiles and bubbly and just excited as fuck to meet you, but he won’t be rude either. The best way to become one of his good friends is persistence. If you become a regular figure in his life, he will become attached to you.

These are possible, but they probably won’t happen much. Obviously not everyone is going to like him, but he finds disliking people to be a bit of a waste of energy. He isn’t going to continually be around someone he doesn’t like, and will more than likely avoid them. If you manage to make him angry enough, you better hope your personal information is safe, because he has no qualms with acquiring it and using it against you.

This section can be slightly messy with him. He’s never had a girlfriend or boyfriend, at least not one that he has been able to physically be around. For that reason, he tends to be awkward when he is attracted to someone and not really know what to do with the feelings at all. He is also very independent, and never clingy. He would be fine going for weeks without talking to you, and certain things are going to take precedent over you. If you’re needy, he’s definitely not a good choice.

While it is true that Bastion can come off as unapproachable or even rude, the fact of the matter is that he is neither of these things. He walks around with a sour expression on his face, and he keeps to himself, but he actually has nothing against making friends or even people in general. He is extremely accepting of others. As long as you aren’t hurting him or the people he loves, he is perfectly fine with you doing whatever the hell you want. If he doesn’t readily approve of it, he’ll simply avoid that aspect of your personality.

Basically, you have to approach him first, or something has to happen to force the first interaction. Once you get him to talking, you’ll find that he’s got a rather sarcastic sense of humor, but he is also kind and intelligent. Actually, if you don’t have some kind of intelligence yourself, chances are that you might be bored in a conversation with him unless you can steer the topic to something more entertaining yourself. Once you do find a friend with him, he will be extremely loyal, but also pretty jealous, so get ready for that.

The vast majority of his enemies are going to be made in an indirect fashion. He is very loyal, protective, and jealous, and these traits mix pretty badly. If you hurt someone he loves, he is going to hate you for it. While he does have the ability to be unbiased, the fact that he might realize the problem actually isn’t your fault doesn’t change the fact that he’s going to hate you for it. Also, he gets possessive and jealous over everyone. His siblings, his friends, and especially his lovers. If he feels like you’re replacing him (and he’ll likely feel this just because you’re talking to them), he is going to dislike the hell out of you.

That being said, it is far from impossible for him to make direct enemies as well. He is very bossy, which easily rubs people the wrong way. Not to mention that he is very moody and grumpy as well. You might just have the misfortune of catching him on a bad day and becoming the object of that bluntness he picked up from his elder brother. Usually he isn’t actually blunt at all, but if he’s already pissy, be prepared to be picked apart mercilessly. And then avoided.

This area is a bit of a rough spot for him, and honestly something that he tries to avoid. He isn’t attracted to females, and after what happened with his last girlfriend, there is no way he’ll consider you romantically if you’re a girl. He has always been attracted to males, but he’s never acted on these feelings. He’s actually a very romantic person, though, and he would enjoy being in a relationship. Being with him is hard, though. He’s very jealous and insecure, and he’ll never be confident in the fact that you love him and you’re not going to replace him. You’ll constantly have to reassure him and baby him.

He is a very sweet lover once you look past these things, though. Unless you’re just treating him terribly, he would never cheat on you or do anything to hurt you. He’ll always try to take care of you, and get the very best for you.
